Mic Collection Sale Days

The time has come. I’m old, and have recorded a lot of music. An attractive offer was made by a good friend for my entire microphone collection. I agreed if he would amend his offer sufficiently so I could keep six favorite mics for myself. Deal.

September 5 and 6, 2025 were chosen to provide time to pack.

My friend brought an associate to help. At 82 I’m unable to lift as much as before. (That’s me wearing the John Deere cap.)

Sixty microphones changed hands during the two days we were together. As you can see, some of them are from the 1930s.

The three of us had a fine time. Everything went well. Thus far I’ve not experienced any seller’s remorse. I began collecting mics and accessories during the year 2000, and have enjoyed using them for 25 years.
