Description and Applications
The E-V Model 638 general purpose microphone exhibits extended frequency response and high output level combined with attractive styling and extreme ruggedness, all at moderate cost. This combination of features makes this microphone ideal for public address, home recording, amateur, and commercial communications, electronic teaching aids, and paging systems.
The Model 638, successor to the famed E-V model 605, continues the tradition of quality and extreme reliability in compact form. The fixed-tilt design incorporated in the stand coupler places the microphone head at the most convenient operating position. Standard 5⁄8"-27 threads are provided for attachment to any microphone stand or boom.
